Billing, receipts, and tax
Last updated
Premail purchases made on or after October 19, 2026 are sold through Link, a Stripe service that acts as the merchant of record. That affects what your card statement shows, who emails your receipt, and where you manage your order.
What will show up on my card statement?
The charge appears as LINK.COM* followed by our name, for example LINK.COM* PREMAIL. If you do not recognise a charge, search your email for a message from Link before contacting your bank.
Who sends my receipt?
Link does, not Premail. Receipts, invoices, and refund notices arrive from Link and say “Sold through Link”. Check your spam folder if one does not arrive.
Is tax added to the price?
Yes, where it applies. Listed prices do not include tax. Sales tax, VAT, or GST is calculated at checkout from your billing address and added on top of the listed price. Some US states do not tax downloaded software, so the tax line can be $0. Prices are shown in your local currency automatically at checkout.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Either of these works:
- Go to link.com to see your orders, change your payment method or billing address, or cancel a subscription.
- In Premail, open the Account tab and choose Manage subscription.
Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Subscriptions bought before October 19, 2026 were not sold through Link and are unchanged.
Can I get a refund?
Premail’s policy is in the terms of service. Link support can also issue refunds in some cases within 60 days of purchase. Contact Link from your receipt, or reach Premail through the support page.
Can I delete my payment data?
You can ask Link to delete your payment data. Doing so cancels any subscriptions sold through Link. See the privacy policy for details.
