Premail is built by Matt Senter of Senternet. Here are a few other projects from the same workshop.

They are small, independent tools rather than one product line. Most began the same way Premail did: something was tedious enough, often enough, that building the fix took less time than continuing to put up with it.

What they share is an approach, not a category. Each one does a narrow job properly, keeps your data where it already lives wherever that is possible, and asks for as little as it can get away with. If that is why Premail appealed to you, the rest of these will read as familiar.
