A Feedback Channel That Respects Your Inbox
Premail cannot improve in a vacuum, but asking for feedback should not become an excuse to build a customer email list. The new feedback channel starts from a simpler premise: anyone can tell us what they think without identifying themselves.
Anonymous by default
The form asks for a category and a message. That is enough to submit. If you want a reply, a separate unchecked option reveals the email field. The address applies only to that submission and does not sign you up for marketing, newsletters, or general outreach.
Private from collection through review
Feedback goes into a protected operator inbox. Full messages, optional contact addresses, and disclosed diagnostic context stay out of analytics and notification emails. Administrators authenticate before opening a submission, and every item has a review state so the original message never needs to be edited.
Website submissions use the site's reCAPTCHA Enterprise-backed App Check protection. Desktop submissions use API-side abuse controls, avoiding a browser challenge inside the app. Both paths feed the same record model.
Clear limits
Feedback records expire after 180 days. The website attaches no diagnostics. In the desktop app, diagnostic context is optional and limited to categories shown before submission. Premail does not intentionally attach message contents, credentials, API keys, or sensitive mailbox data.
Have something to tell us? Send feedback, or read the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling terms.
