v1.3.1

Premail v1.3.1

The Linux AppImage opens its window again on newer distributions, every release now ships a SHA256SUMS file, and AI cost estimates use corrected prices.

What changed

Linux AppImage opens on newer distributions

On distributions with a recent Mesa, such as Arch, CachyOS, and other rolling releases running KDE on Wayland, the v1.3.0 AppImage started but never showed a window. The AppImage now uses your system’s Wayland libraries and falls back to its own copies only for the ones your system is missing. Every Linux package is now launched on Ubuntu, Fedora, and Arch before a release is published.

Checksums for every download

Each release now publishes a SHA256SUMS file covering the Mac, Windows, and Linux installers, so you can check a download with sha256sum -c before you install it.

Corrected AI cost estimates

Estimated costs for Claude Haiku 4.5 and GPT-4o now use the correct per-token prices.
