Affiliate Program Terms

Last updated: September 22, 2026

These terms govern participation in Premail’s affiliate/referral program. By enrolling, you agree to these terms as they stand at the time you accept them. See the Privacy Policy for how Premail handles affiliate and attribution data.

Current program terms

Premail has not yet published an approved commission rate, attribution window, payout schedule, or country list for this program. Nothing above is final until it appears here and in your affiliate dashboard; do not rely on figures quoted anywhere else.

Enrollment and approval

Enrollment requires a valid email address and acceptance of the version of these terms shown to you at signup. Premail records the exact version and time you accepted. A new affiliate account starts in a pending state; Premail may review an account before or after enrollment and may decline or suspend an account, including for the reasons described under “Suspension and termination” below.

Only purchases made by customers who are not the affiliate themselves, and who were not already an existing Premail customer at the time of the qualifying purchase, are eligible for commission. See “Self-referrals and fraud” below.

Attribution

A purchase is attributed to the affiliate whose link or code was most recently associated with the buyer’s browser or desktop install before the qualifying purchase (last click/entry wins). If more than one affiliate’s link or code was used before a purchase, only the most recent one receives credit.

Opening a referral link stores the attribution in this browser only if you have accepted analytics cookies; otherwise it is kept only for the current browser tab/session. Typing a referral code in directly at checkout always works, regardless of cookie consent, and always takes precedence over a previously stored link-based attribution. A referral code is not automatically a discount; whether a code also carries a discount is a separate, case-by-case decision Premail may or may not make.

If you believe a purchase was misattributed or should have been attributed to you and was not, contact support@premail.pro with the approximate date and the code or link used. Premail reviews attribution disputes using its own first-party attribution records; a dispute does not pause or reverse a payout already made while it is being reviewed.

Commission, holds, and payout

A new commission is held for the hold period shown above before it becomes payable, to allow time for refunds, chargebacks, and fraud review. Held commissions are not guaranteed and may be reduced or reversed if the underlying purchase is refunded, disputed, or found to be self-referred or fraudulent (see below).

Payable balances are grouped into monthly payout batches on the schedule shown above. A balance below the minimum payout amount is carried forward to the next batch rather than paid out early or forfeited. Payouts are sent through Stripe’s Global Payouts product to the payout method you connect; currency conversion and any payout-method fees are the responsibility of the party shown above. Premail does not guarantee a specific arrival date once funds leave Premail’s account; bank processing times vary by country and method.

If a payout is returned (for example, an incorrect or closed destination account), Premail will hold the corresponding balance and contact you to correct your payout details before it is retried in a future batch. Premail is not responsible for a delayed or returned payout caused by incorrect payout information you provided.

Post-payout adjustments

If a refund, chargeback, or lost payment dispute affects a purchase after its commission has already been paid out, Premail does not attempt to claw back or reverse the payout directly. Instead, the amount owed back is offset against your future earnings until it is recovered. Premail will never send you an invoice or debit a connected payout method to recover this amount.

Self-referrals and fraud

You may not refer yourself, a household member, or an account you control, and you may not use coupon sites, incentivized-click networks, spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or misleading advertising to promote your link or code. Premail reviews conversion patterns for signs of self-referral or abuse; an ambiguous case (for example, a shared household) is routed to manual review rather than automatically forfeited.

A confirmed self-referral or fraudulent promotion forfeits the associated commission and may result in suspension or termination of your affiliate account. Advertising disclosure is your responsibility: if you promote Premail through paid or sponsored content, you must comply with applicable advertising-disclosure law and platform rules (for example, FTC endorsement guidance) in the jurisdictions where you advertise.

Refunds and disputes

A refunded or successfully disputed purchase never earns a commission. A partial refund reduces the associated commission proportionally. These adjustments apply automatically based on Premail’s own payment records and are not separately negotiable per transaction.

Suspension and termination

Premail may suspend or terminate your affiliate account for a confirmed self-referral or fraudulent promotion, for a materially misleading advertising claim about Premail, for failing a required compliance or tax-status check (see below), or for any other breach of these terms. You may close your own account at any time by contacting support.

Suspension or termination does not forfeit a commission that had already matured (passed its hold period) and was not tied to fraud or a self-referral; Premail will still pay a legitimately earned, matured balance in a future payout batch once any required compliance or tax status is resolved. A commission still within its hold period at the time of termination is evaluated the same way it would have been had the account remained active.

Missing or blocked compliance and tax status

Before Premail can send you a payout, you must have an active Stripe payout destination and a cleared internal compliance and tax-reporting status. A missing or blocked status holds your payout without deleting the underlying earned balance: it simply is not included in a payout batch until the status clears, the same way an under-minimum balance carries forward. See Premail’s tax-operations process (available on request from support@premail.pro) for how required taxpayer documentation, where applicable, is collected and verified. Premail does not automatically determine or guarantee that any payout satisfies your own tax obligations in your jurisdiction; you are responsible for reporting and paying any tax due on amounts you earn through this program.

Residual unpaid balances

If your account is closed with an earned, matured balance still unpaid because it never reached the minimum payout amount, or because a required compliance or tax status was never resolved, Premail will hold that balance for a reasonable period and attempt to contact you at the email on file to resolve payout. A balance is never simply deleted for being small or for a status that was never resolved; it remains a recorded obligation until it is paid or the affiliate cannot be reached after reasonable attempts, consistent with Premail’s financial recordkeeping practices.

Changes to these terms

Premail may update these terms or the underlying program configuration (rate, window, hold period, minimum, countries, or currencies) from time to time. A change is never retroactive: it applies to purchases and enrollments going forward from the date a new program version is approved, and does not alter a commission already earned under an earlier version.

An already-enrolled affiliate keeps earning under the terms they most recently accepted. When these terms change, Premail notifies affiliates by email and asks them to reaccept before their next payout is processed; an affiliate who has not reaccepted after reasonable notice may be held out of a payout batch the same way an unresolved compliance status is, without losing the underlying earned balance.
